Conversation Pit

Pride Toronto: 2023.

Conversation Pit was originally installed at the Toronto Eaton Centre for Pride Month, and following its exhibition moved to Base 31’s Drill Hall and concert venue. This was a response to the theme “Love across the Multiverse”, the grid-based design references the technical structure of a wormhole, a portal that connects the past to the present. The intention was for the installation point to become a meeting point of these timelines, a physical opportunity to create a site of community and queer belonging.
