Conversation Pit

Pride Toronto, 2023

Conversation Pit was originally installed at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre for Pride Month, and following its exhibition moved to Base 31’s Drill Hall and concert venue. This was a response to the theme “Love across the Multiverse”, the grid-based design references the technical structure of a wormhole, a portal that connects the past to the present. The intention was for the installation point to become a meeting point of these timelines, a physical opportunity to create a site of community and queer belonging.
