A cyclical body in linear space
6 × 10 ft., mixed media installation (Alupanel, Tufbak, latex house paint, acrylic and oil), 2026.
This installation is a visual representation of the cyclical nature of my disability, and the sensation of being out of place when inserting my body-mind into linear spaces and social spheres. I considered the stairwell as a transitory space and its hollow architecture. My cyclical body-mind feels counterintuitive to this utilitarian space. Aesthetically I wanted to include patterning to simulate motion, expanding beyond the panel, yet still within the constraints of the cyclical to display its attempt to interact and exist within the linear.
