The Fish and Lamp came from an extended and home-bound depressive period. The longer I felt stagnant within my space, the more I considered myself as an object or accessory of the home. This series is an exploration of the intersection between self, and space, and how these definitive lines seem to blur the longer that we stagnate within the latter.
